Some of the most powerful Hoodoo magic involves ancestors and/or spirit, and Crossroads magic is perhaps one of the most recognized types of Hoodoo magic. There are specific methods involved in these kinds of workings. This class will present various processes and rituals for this kind of work, as well as why this magic is so important and powerful.
• Crossroads Magic
Learn what the crossroads is and where to find one, Examples of spell work will be presented.
• Graveyard Magic
Graveyard Magic can involve working with ancestors and/or spirits or it can be as simple as collecting dirt from a grave, but no matter your work in the graveyard there are steps that must occur.

When ever anyone asks me for help with a spell it usually falls in one of four categories (which I call the “Big Four”: Love, Money, Health or Protection.
This month we will visit some spells you can do to protect yourself and your loved ones. Whether you have pissed someone off and you feel you need to protect yourself from retaliation or your child needs help to keep the class bully off their scent or maybe you just want to feel safe in your home; protection spells can help you with the day to day task of making you less vulnerable.
Join us for this introduction to the “big four.”
Hexeba Theaux is a Louisiana bred Cajun with a special interest in Hoodoo. She has been a Rootworker for more than 40 years. Her business “Cajun Conjure” was born of this passion.

She has belonged to circles or covens in Spain, California, and Nevada; been initiated into two Central Valley Wicca Traditions, and is a Gardnerian third degree.
Hexeba has taught Village Witchery© and Hoodoo/Conjure at Pantheacon for many years. She also teaches Witchcraft and Hoodoo/Conjure/Rootwork at Infusion Playhouse in Stockton, California and at Lightweavers Academy in Citrus Heights, California.
